Delicia Mexican Grill in Plainfield

Great place to have authentic Mexican food. They offer enormous variety of plates to choose from. Food was plentiful and tasty for reasonable prices. Our party of 10 had Enchilada dinner, combo fajita, burrito and signature steak dinner plate that came with a salad, rice and beans. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. Plus the jalapeno drink is a must. Service was prompt and our server always made sure we had what we needed without being bothersome. This establishment is family-friendly. I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this great place. happy to tell that it was a fine evening and the place was undoubtedly the reason for the fruitful gathering. The stuff participated in a very nice manner, the cooking was appetizing and my friends were very thrilled. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Owner Jed went out of his way to accommodate my last minute dinner party reservation. High quality food for reasonable prices. Waitresses were very attentive and we had a great time! Overall great experience.

Decent place if you like Mexican food, my only complaint is the bar they are limited on the beer selection mainly Mexican beers nothing wrong but was looking for Stella or other imported beers.

I adore this spot! They serve first-cleass food, their menu is decent, The cook in that spot is a professional, I enjoy very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the clients is friendly. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I highly recommend it.

Had reservation, walked in, all staff just ignores you and doesn’t even acknowledge you, not even eye contact; nonetheless the place wasn’t busy to even justify this. When asked to one of the employee all I got was rude response and Again, no eye contact. I just left the place because if Im going to be treated like this, I will happily take my business elsewhere. Never coming back to this place. Wouldn’t recommend. 0/5

Seems like they don't need more business. A good friend of mine used to own this and at the time both Food and Service were Excellent. I called to order food and the waitress had no clue about the menu, especially what is vegetarian and what is not.Beibg a vegetarian, it is very important for me to know the ingredients in the food, so I ask to speak to the manager for a clarification..As she approaches him, I literally heard him tell her, I don't have time for him right now...If this is the level of service they are giving, they will not survive. Feel bad because it was once one of my favorite restaurants.

I just had one of the best dinners I've had in a while. Good Mexican food is hard to find but I found it tonight. The staff and management are friendly, hospitable and showed a great deal of integrity in their service tonight. The Carne Asada fajitas are delicious and sizzling hot. The atmosphere is relaxed and happy. I fully recommend this restaurant.

Service was extremely slow. Ten minutes before the waitress came by to bring us chops and take a drink order. Another long wait for our food after we ordered. Food arrived only warm, not hot.

This place gives great service as well as yummy meals. My favourite spot in the area. The food and drinks came out rapidly and the prices were economical. I recommend this place.

Honestly, this restaurant doesn't even deserve one star but I had to choose one if I wanted to leave a review. This restaurant is a JOKE. We MADE RESERVATIONS for a birthday and had part of our party standing for an hour. Waited for our COLD food for another hour. Had to ask for literally everything that should already have been a given such as water, silverware, drinks, and someone to take our order. Might I add that they tried to charge us extra and could not let us pay the bill with separate cards because the waitress "didn't know how to enter it into the computer". Tried to talk to the staff AND manager/owner and he walked away from us, yelled at us and did not help whatsoever. Also accused us of "extortion" because we informed him that we would be leaving a review for him. I can truly say that this restautant should NOT be running. I have lived in Australia, South Africa and here in America and never have I had this kind of DEPLORABLE SERVICE in my life.

Food is nasty. Beans are bland & rice is not good either. This is not real Mexican food compared to other restaurants.

The food was not bad but the service was horrible! There was one other couple in the restaurant but the waiter never checked on us after the food was brought out. We never received refills on our drinks and we could see her sitting on her phone as we were trying to get our check. We had to yell across the room to ask for our check after waiting about 15 minutes once we were finished eating. She then told us she couldnt split the appetizer between us so one person would have to pay it in full. Overall the food was not worth a trip back to this restaurant.

So good. Margaritas are great. Food was great, service was extremely friendly. Will absolutely come back and definitely recommend

Had a fantastic meal at Delicia. Amazed to find a Mexican restaurant we could eat the rice, beans and many things on the menu. My wife is vegan and I'm vegetarian, so this place was truly an amazing find. The owner (A.P.) is super friendly as are the staff.
